This Privacy Policy explains how Aria: AI Music Generator ("Aria", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Joppe Sabbe, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what we need to generate your music and run the App, and we never sell your personal data.
1Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide
- Music inputs — the song descriptions, prompts, custom lyrics, titles, genre and style selections, and mood settings you submit to generate music.
- Library & profile data — the tracks you save, playlists you create, and settings you configure in the App.
- Support requests — information you send us by email when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — features used, songs generated, interactions, session length, and in-app events, collected through analytics tools.
- Device information — device model, operating system version, language, and approximate region.
- Purchase data — subscription status and transaction identifiers (we do not receive or store your full payment card details; payments are processed by Apple).
2How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and personalize the App and generate your songs and tracks.
- To process the prompts and lyrics you submit and return the music you request.
- To manage subscriptions, free trials, and billing through Apple.
- To improve the App, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- To respond to your support requests and communicate important updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3AI Music Generation & Processing
Aria uses third-party artificial intelligence model providers to generate songs, vocals, and instrumental tracks. When you create a track, the text prompts, lyrics, and style selections you submit may be sent to these providers solely to generate your result. We instruct our providers not to use your inputs to train their public models where such controls are available.
Songs are generated automatically by software. Because AI models are trained on large datasets, generated music may unintentionally resemble existing songs, melodies, or vocal styles; see our Terms of Use for details on ownership and your responsibilities.
4How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers — AI model providers, cloud hosting, analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), and subscription management partners that process data on our behalf.
- Apple — for payment processing and subscription management.
- Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Tracks and playlists tied to your use are kept while your account or installation is active. You can delete your tracks within the App at any time, and you can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
6Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

8Children's Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

The App is operated and data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated in-app. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
